My Book Won an Award! (SSSP, 2022)

My first book I Don't Like the Blues: Race, Place, and the Backbeat of Black Life is the 2022 recipient of the Eduardo Bonilla-Silva Book Award. Awarded by the Society for the Study of Social Problems, the award "honors the significant theoretical and empirical contributions of Eduardo Bonilla-Silva to the understanding of contemporary race and racism."
