My Book won another award!!! (ABS, 2022)

My first book I Don't Like the Blues: Race, Place, and the Backbeat of Black Life is the 2022 recipient of the Ida B. Wells-Barnett Book Award. Awarded by the Association of Black Sociologists, the award recognizes the "best published book in the past two years (2020 and 2021)."
